Cookie Policy
What Are Cookies?
In common with almost all websites, this site uses cookies, which are small files downloaded to your computer, to improve your experience. This page describes what information they gather, how we use it and why we sometimes need to store these cookies. We will also explain how you can prevent these cookies from being stored, although doing so may reduce this site's functionality.
The Cookies We Set
Cookie | Purpose |
---|---|
ASP.NET_SessionId | A temporary cookie to keep your browsing session alive, removed when your session expires. |
.ASPXAUTH | If you tick the option to remember your login for two weeks using a cookie, this is used to log you back in. |
__signed_in | Marks if you physically logged in rather than logged in by cookie. |
__RequestVerificationToken, __AjaxRequestVerificationToken | Used to confirm that any forms you submit came directly from the site, to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery Attacks. |
__AcceptsCookies | Remembers that you've accepted the use of cookies. |
__utma, __utmb, __utmc, __utmt, __utmz, _ga_, _gat, _gid | Used by Google Analytics, one of the most widely used web analytics systems, to help us improve this site by monitoring things like how long you spend on the site and which pages you visit. |
Disabling Cookies
You can prevent the setting of cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser (see your browser's Help section for how to do this). Be aware that doing so may make this site, and others, harder to use, so we don't recommend it.
